Arummi Raises Seed Round to Bring Indonesian Cashew Milk to the World

When passion meets purpose, great things happen.
We’re thrilled to congratulate Arummi Foods, Indonesia’s homegrown cashew milk pioneer, on successfully closing their Seed round. This marks an exciting new chapter in their mission to make healthier, more sustainable dairy alternatives accessible to millions.
In a country where more than 70% of the population is lactose intolerant, Arummi has turned local cashews into a global story. From humble beginnings in a small lab experiment to becoming a staple in 650+ retail stores, 3,000+ cafés and restaurants, and selling over 750,000 liters, Arummi is reshaping what “milk” means for Indonesian families.
This Seed round brings together a powerhouse trio of investors:
-
BEENEXT, supporting iconic startups across Asia and beyond.
-
Korea Investment Partners, the venture capital & private equity arm of Korea Investment Holdings (KIH), one of the largest private financial groups in Korea.
-
Fondation Botnar, a Swiss-based foundation committed to improving the health and wellbeing of young people worldwide, supported by SAGANA.
These partners don’t just bring capital, they bring belief in Arummi’s vision for healthier, sustainable choices, one cashew at a time.
At WOWS Global, we’re proud to have walked alongside Arummi in this journey, helping bring the right investors to the table. But the real credit goes to Nacitta Kanyandara and the incredible Arummi team, who are proving that local ingredients can power global innovation.
Here’s to their next chapter. And here’s to raising a glass of cashew milk to a healthier tomorrow.
